11:53am

Police have released the name of a man who went overboard from a fishing boat off the Hawke’s Bay coast on Monday.
He was named as 54-year-old Jason Hollows from Hampden, Otago.
A multi-agency search began after reports a crew member had fallen overboard from a fishing vessel off the coast of Hawke’s Bay around 8pm on April 1.
At the time, Maritime New Zealand was being assisted by rescue helicopter services from Auckland, Gisborne and Hastings, Napier coast guard and other vessels to search the area approximately 11km offshore from Waimarama.

Police said officers have met with Hollow’s whānau to update them as search and investigation efforts continued.
“The vessel has been searched and the crew members have all been spoken to,” a spokesperson said.
“Further searches are still to be considered.”
